1.What is an inverter?
Inverter is an electrical device that converting direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC), the resulting AC (AC) may at any required voltage and frequency with the use of appropriate transformers, switching and control circuits. Inverters are commonly used to supply AC power from DC sources such as solar panels or batteries.

2.If the inverter which contains a charger, then can I use the power inverter and charger (PIC) the function ofinvert and charge both at the same time?
No. If the inverter has a charging function, it the switching from the charger to the inverter can be manually controlled orautomatically controlled. In both controlling modes, you cannot operate the charger and the inverter at the same time.

3.Does Ligao inverters work on solar panels?

In the current range of inverters we offer, they do not work directly with the solar panels. However, if the solar panel is being connected with a solar charge controller and then to the battery, the inverter can be used in this application.

4.When the inverter is connected to the battery and switched on, and why the inverter does not work?
In order to ensure the normal operation of the inverter, you must be sure of: 1) the battery is fully charged or at least not inlow battery voltage conditions; 2) the polarity connection from the battery to the inverter is correct, i.e. The positive polarity from the inverter terminal to the positive terminal on the battery and the same for the negative polarity, do not ever reverse the polarity connection.

5.When the power inverter and charger (PIC) power switch is in ”Charge” status, but the “Charge” LED indicator does not show and the  fan doesn’t run at the same time? 
This may be because the utility power and the inverter power plug is not properly connected, or a blown up fuse of the inverter, check the connection of the utility power supply and replace the fuse with a new one with same rating.

6.How do I check or change the fuses?

Ligao Inverters contain internal or external fuses and should only be checked or replaced by a qualified electrical appliance repairer.

7.Why does the fan only operate sometimes?

    Ligao inverters feature a temperature controlled automatic cooling fan that only operates when needed. This allows the inverter to run very quietly for most of the time. If the fan doesn’t work, it might be a loose contact of the fan cables to the main PCB or a defective fan or a failure PCB. You are advised to submit it to the service center.
